JIM DEWIRE AND SONS - ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Like most companies that have survived the test of time, this one had humble beginnings. The senior Dewire learned and honed his craft as a railroad carpenter and then later worked for a local contractor. He moved to Bethlehem with his family, and continued perfecting his trade. In 1965, the family business DEWIRE GENERAL CONTRACTING was founded. The company developed a stellar reputation built on quality work and exceptional customer service.

In 1987, the business name was changed to Jim Dewire and Sons. Both sons , Jim and Jeff, became actively involved working beside their father and learning the intricacies of the trade. Today, 46 years later, the Dewire sons work with the same standards taught to them by their father; providing the same excellent customer service; and delivering the same quality end-results.

The "Little Man" in our Banner is More than Just A Graphic
The" little man", as he is affectionatelly called, is a trademark identity of Dewire and Sons, just as it has been from the first day the company was founded by Jim Dewire Senior. His image might be dated, but what he stands for is not.
He has become the symbol of integrity and the quality standards espoused by our father and instilled in us as we learned the trade. His presence is more than just a graphic symbol. It is your assurance that our family name and repuatation stands behind our work product and our commitment to continue to provide the quality, integrity and excellent customer service that has propelled the success of our company for 46 years.

The first shop location seemed adequate enough for tools and equipment. Today, with a number of vehicles, state-of-the-art equipment and an endless array of supplies our newest location provides over 4000 square feet of space to house it all.

The work crew may change a bit from time to time but the quality of work remains the same as it did when Jim Dewire Senior (center of photo) made his vision a reality. Every project has the same oversight by sons Jim and Jeff, keeping in mind his vision and the quality end result he iinsited upon.
